Patmos, a picturesque town in the north of Greece’s Dodecanese islands, is famous for its spiritual and historical significance as the location where Saint John the Apostle received the divine revelation, leading to the writing of the Book of Revelation.
Many pilgrims travel to Chora every year to visit the The Cave of the Apocalypse. The Chora has an impressive medieval architecture, including the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Monastery of Saint John.
