Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped canyon roughly 1,000 ft (305 m) deep carved by the mighty Colorado River. The parking lot/ticket entry and trailhead is located off US Highway 89, from there you will have a 15 minute walk to the overlook of Horseshoe Bend.
