Arcosanti

Located in the high desert of Arizona, 70 miles north of Phoenix

Arcosanti is an attempt at a prototype arcology, integrating design and architecture with a limited environmental footprint. Designed by an Italian-American architect Paolo Soleri, it is an experimental town with a bronze bell casting business.

They offer great guided tours (book in advance). Definitely recommend for those who appreciate architecture and art.
