Roaming Stones is all about walking and hiking. The Tramuntana Mountains are crisscrossed by ancient paths where donkeys once traversed and which today have become an endless network of routes that connect coastal towns and mountain refugios. Most of the walking we have done and can recommend originates from the town of Esporles, 25 minutes northwest of Palma. We have done some walking elsewhere on the island, but it is limited.
