Ponza
Very much off the beaten path, Ponza is a magical island off the western coast of Italy, between Rome and Naples. The water and anchorages are beautiful, not to miss is the bay of Chiaia di Luna, where the dramatic white cliffs provide one of the most stunning anchorages in the Med. Another boat destination is the Arco del Parroco, on the eastern coast of the island, the surrounding waters are ideal for a day of swimming and sunning.
Next door on the neighboring island of Palmarola are the breath-taking vertical cliffs known as the Cathedral for their Gothic-looking spires, don´t miss a day of boating around Palmarola if you are boating in the area.
