hike Portofino to San Fruttuoso
Hike to an abbey
Combining this magnificent two hour hike from Portofino to San Fruttuoso with a delicious, well-deserved lunch ( See EAT) at the end, is a favorite Roaming Stones way to spend the morning. This hike starts off with a challenging, quite steep 25 min vertical hike (including hundreds of steps) out of Portofino, but once you’re up, the walk levels off through terraces and pine forrests with stunning views of the Ligurian coast. The reward is a charming lunch in San Fruttuoso. Be aware that the only way back to Portofino is by boat or by foot.

A wonderful easy beautiful stroll to a scenic lighthouse, round trip is not more than 45 mins. Take Via alla Penisola from the port, you can’t miss it!
