One of our favorite laid back gems, located on the south side of Formentera

Another of our favorites, 10.7 is located on the south side of Formentera on Playa Migjorn, and is not at all about loud thumping music.

With a lovely setting on a rocky beach with magnificent views, 10.7 is an excellent way to change-up the scene from the beach restaurants of Ses Illetes, serving Asian inspired Mediterranean cuisine.

Great spot to watch the sunset with a cocktail.

Super fun lunch spot with lively music about 20 mins outside of Ibiza town, either by boat or by car. The swimming in front is not great, so not advisable to anchor for the day.

This beach is picture-postcard perfect. You can’t go wrong throwing an anchor anywhere in the beautiful expanse of turquoise waters and swimming onto the white sandy beach on the western side of the northern tip of Ibiza.

Choosing your anchorage may depend on where you decide to head for lunch. The water is stunning right up to S´Espalmador.

Platja de Ses Illetes and S´Espalmador: There is a break between Platja de Ses Illetes and S´Espalmador that, depending on the tides, you can walk in waist-high water from one side to the other.

Hike: Ses Balandres

One of our Favorite hikes, the views descending are truly scenic but its very steep

Located in Santa Agnès North in Ibiza, overlooking the bay of Ses Balandres and Sant Joan de Labritja. Hike starts 200 meters above sea level and down a cliff on a narrow steep path. For those who have vertigo, better to skip. Narrow wooden staircases, ropes for steep descents, but beautiful pine trees surround you as you walk towards the turquoise sea.

Once reaching the bottom, from the perched fishing boat houses take a dip and watch the magical sunset.

Walk formentera

In the mood for a great walk on the island?

Depart from Port de Formentera, heading north along the sandy road parallel to the beach. Formentera is a very flat island, but there are a few elevations on this walk which provide some magnificent views.
